From 12- 16 March sound artist Eunjin Yoo will stay in Daily Practice (eating, working, sleeping).
She is participating in the Spatial Sound Course at the Rijksakademie, Amsterdam for the Sonic Act Biennale 2026.
We both though it might be nice to share ‘something’ of her way of working in Daily Practice. Eunjin proposed an informal performance on Sunday March 15 16:00-18:00 hrs.
For this performance she has also invited the Hague based sound artist Parvin Diyanati. The direction they are thinking is less about performing music and more about exploring listening; How we are shaped by familiar sounds, invisible boundaries, and how space itself can re-tune us.
Eunjin Yoo (Daegu,1992) is a South Korean artist based in Munich whose practice moves across installation, sound, sculpture, video, and performance. Her work explores how cultural memory and identity are shaped through migration, labor, and shared histories, often emerging from fieldwork, collaboration, and close engagement with local contexts. Eunjin weaves together sonic fragments, material traces, and lived experience to examine how traditions are reinterpreted today. She studied visual arts in Daegu and Berlin, after that she graduated in 2025 under the mentorship of Alexandra Bircken and Raphaela Vogel at the academy of Munich.
