Artist Raffia Li will reside in Daily Practice until mid September 2024, reflecting on her finished research ‘Tilting towards, the sensing feeling body’, which received an O&O grant from CBK Rotterdam in 2023. At the same time Raffia Li will be seeking for continuation of this research. Their practice has been focusing on working with “otherwise” languages as poetic and political space for relation making/transforming, challenging and interrupting normative way of knowledge and value production.

‘Tilting towards, the sensing feeling body’, was a performance research project built around a phrase in Taoist text Zhuangzi, 交臂不同 (jiāo bì bú tóng), which means we become different as our arms touch while passing across one another: we’re constantly transformed by each touch/encounter.
